Disney Cruise Line
Your way.
The right Disney cruise starts with the sailing, not just the ship. We help you compare departure ports, nights at sea, room choices and the costs around the fare so you can choose with a clear picture of the whole trip.

Is this your kind of trip?
A good fit for families who like the idea of unpacking once, sharing entertainment and spending time both onboard and ashore. Your best starting point is the port you can reach comfortably, the number of nights you want and the places you would like to visit.
Make the big choices first
What we work through together.
Useful comparisons, clear tradeoffs and a person to talk it through with.
Choose port and dates first
A convenient departure can matter more than one particular ship. Price the travel to the port and consider arriving the day before embarkation. A cheaper cruise fare may stop being cheaper after flights, a pre-cruise hotel and transfers are included.
Match the room to your family
Compare the actual stateroom category, occupancy, bedding and location. Interior, oceanview and verandah choices offer different experiences. For multiple rooms, tell us whether connecting rooms or being nearby is a priority before comparing offers.
Separate fare from extras
Disney lists many dining and entertainment experiences as included, but that does not make every cruise cost included. Build a separate allowance for gratuities, selected beverages, Port Adventures, specialty dining, internet and travel to the port as applicable. We review what the specific quote covers.
A starting point for your comparison.
| Option | Consider it for | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Short sailing | A first taste of cruising or a tighter schedule | Travel to the port takes a larger share of the overall trip. |
| Longer sailing | More time to settle into the ship and itinerary | Compare the total time away and spending allowance, not just nightly fare. |
| Verandah stateroom | A private outdoor space is a priority | Compare the premium with the time you expect to spend in your room. |
One way to think about it
Build a cruise comparison in two columns
Compare the same travelers on two sailings. For each, add the fare and quoted taxes/fees, flights, pre-cruise hotel, transfers and an extras allowance. Then note total nights away and port stops. This reveals whether the less expensive fare is also the less expensive vacation, and whether the longer sailing gives you more of what you wanted.
Illustrative planning example. Your dates and preferences shape your actual trip.

Disney Cruise Line: good questions to ask.
Is a Disney cruise all-inclusive?
Many dining and entertainment experiences are included in the fare, but some services and experiences cost extra. Compare the specific sailing's inclusions and your expected extras rather than treating the cruise price as your entire vacation budget.
Do we need passports?
Documentation depends on citizenship, itinerary and other circumstances. Use Disney Cruise Line's current travel-document requirements and the relevant government guidance. Tell us early if you have document questions; never assume one sailing's rules apply to another.
Can you combine a cruise with Disney World?
Yes, we can discuss a combined trip. Start with the sailing dates, then add the park stay and transfers around it. The cruise and land portions may have separate booking terms and costs.
