What we collect
When you plan a trip with us, we collect the information you provide: your trip preferences (destination, dates, party size and ages, budget, parks, resort preference, interests, pace, accessibility or planning considerations, and occasion), your contact details (name, email, phone if provided), and anything you add to the planner or private workspace. We also generate and store a vacation plan based on your answers and keep operational records such as status changes, tasks, and messages.
How we use it
We use this information to create your vacation plan, operate your private trip workspace, connect you with a human travel specialist, respond to your messages, and help with the trip you requested. We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers to run this site: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Anthropic (AI processing of your trip answers to generate planning content), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes your data only to provide their service to us. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to power the planning assistant and are handled under their privacy practices. Google Analytics processes limited site-usage data as described below.
Retention and deletion
We keep trip submissions while the request is active and afterward for operational, dispute, and legal records. Private workspace links expire after 30 days and may be replaced when the team sends a new message. To request deletion, email hello@magicalagent.com with your reference code and we'll remove it.
Cookies and analytics
We use browser local storage to keep your in-progress trip plan on your device. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, general location, device type); it sets cookies and processes usage data under Google's privacy policy. Analytics is configured without advertising personalization or Google Signals. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.
Children
Our service is for adults planning family trips. We do not knowingly collect information from children; kids' ages entered by a parent are used only to tailor the trip plan.
